Basic philosophic logic tells us that, all things being equal, A+B=C. In this case, we can draw a conclusion based on a binomial logical problem as follows:
A= Only God is perfect, B= Humans are not God, so therefore C= Humans are not perfect. The second half of this equation is: A= Humans are not perfect, B= The Bible was written by Humans, so therefore C= The Bible is not perfect. Fundamentalist Christianity and Catholicism would have you believe the following: A= Only God is perfect, B= God, itself wrote the Bible (using, of course, the hands of human beings that he possessed for some unknown reason), and therefore C= The Bible is the perfect "word of God". Because of this, you need to live your life the way the Bible tells you to in order to get to heaven.
